Before we build
Good questions. Straight answers.
You don’t need to have AI figured out before you start. Here’s what to expect from working together.
Do I need to know how to code?
You can start with a familiar business task and a willingness to try things. We’ll choose an approach that fits your skills. If the task needs custom code or a deeper integration, we’ll identify that before agreeing on scope.
Do you build the assistant for me?
Yes. We build your assistant around your business. We also help you learn to use and improve it.
Which assistant should I use?
We choose the right tools with you, based on the job, your budget, and where you’re comfortable working. Access and privacy are part of the design.
Can I run this from my phone?
Yes. We design the whole workflow for your phone: give instructions, review results, approve next steps, and stay informed. You choose where you’re comfortable working, with more freedom to step away from your desk.
What should I bring to the first conversation?
One recurring task that eats your time. Be ready to describe how you do it now, the tools involved, and what a useful result would look like. You don’t need to share sensitive records to have that conversation.
Will it send messages or change records automatically?
That depends on the tool, the task, and the permissions you choose. We start with outputs you can inspect, such as drafts and proposed updates. Any action in your systems needs clear boundaries and an approval approach you’re comfortable with.
What about private customer or business information?
We agree on what information is needed and where it can go before connecting tools. Start with sanitized examples where possible, limit access, and review the provider’s data policies. Some work may need specialist privacy or security advice.
What if my assistant makes a mistake?
We use representative examples to find errors, define checks, and decide when it should stop and ask you. AI can still make mistakes. The goal is a workflow where errors are easier to spot before they affect customers or your business.
How much does an assistant build cost?
We’ll discuss the task, tools, and support you need, then agree on scope and pricing before work begins. Tool subscriptions and any integration costs are discussed separately.
Can you guarantee time savings or more revenue?
No fixed savings or revenue result is promised. We choose a task with a clear purpose and compare the results with the effort it takes to build, use, and review the assistant.
